What changed on August 4
The Direct turned a teaser into a usable game outline
The dedicated 20-minute presentation confirmed the 1449 Heroic Games as only one layer of the story: in 1454, Eshmel and Fortuna travel back to change the fates of Cai, Dietrich, Theodora and Leda before confronting Balor.
It also showed the between-match rhythm in Dagsion, world-map travel, dungeons, recruiting, class certifications, Combat Arts, HP-cost Blaze Arts, move-by-move rewinding and optional Joy-Con 2 mouse controls. This site uses that Direct—not pre-Direct theory—as its baseline.
